Ricky is a real estate and business lawyer providing a wide range of transactional and general counsel legal services. He advises clients regarding real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, financings, joint ventures, and private equity transactions. He also issues title insurance as an agent of First American Title Insurance Company, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, and North American Title Insurance Company. In addition, Ricky advises companies, investors, and entrepreneurs regarding mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation, licensing, employee and shareholder matters, and company formation—frequently working with startups.
Ricky serves as many of his clients’ “on call” outside counsel, providing the advantage of learning his clients’ businesses without the typical overhead of an in-house attorney.

Background
Ricky grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he studied finance and spent much of his time working in the live music business, including as a promoter and production and touring manager. Ricky then attended Florida State University for law school.
Away from the office, Ricky enjoys traveling with his wife Leah and chasing around his son Hayes. Ricky is passionate about advancing research to find cures for pediatric cancers and raising money for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
